Not only do indoor plants look beautiful and add warmth to any space, they also provide amazing health benefits! A palm like this one (Leah and I purchased at Ikea for well under $20), can kill up to 87% of indoor toxins which improve your air quality and decrease cold & airborne illnesses by 30%!! They also make you happy & improve morale, so you should have one at work too!
My recommendations for your indoor plant to thrive:
1. Water It. Just make sure the dirt is always moist.
2. Stick it outside from time to time and let it soak in some direct sunlight.
3. And when possible, sprinkle its water over the top like a rain shower (even with the hose).

HomeGoods is one of our very favorite decor resources! It is TJ Maxx’s home store and will blow your mind with the beautiful selection of designer dishware, towels, decorator pieces, chairs, light fixtures, gifts, pillows and so much more. The prices are amazing! And the holiday decor is AAAMAZING!
Yesterday, I was FLOORED by the rug selection. I saw the most insane oriental rug with cool, grey tones that modernizes an old world feel. Available in both 7′x9′ for $99 or 12′x18′ for $199!!?? Tell me that isn’t the GENIUS deal!?? They had huge sisal rugs on clearance for $50, and an adorable bubble gum pink and ivory damask for only $99!! Seriously, this is a deal of a lifetime. Check here to find a HomeGoods near you!
Here is some beautiful rug inspiration, care of cococozy:

Kate Spade Spring 2010

Mary and I are loving these Kate Spade ads! So much so that we were inspired to take a little road trip of our own. Well, not really. Actually, we had to drive up to Sacramento for a job. Sshhhhhhh! We can’t divulge the details, but you’ll find out soon enough! So, off we headed up to our states capitol. It might not have been as glamorous as the girls from Kate Spade ( in fact, we were mostly in our PJ’s) but we sure had fun! And fun with your best friend is always Fabulous!

We loaded up the van with all of our favorite Fabulous things!

Sac Town here we come!!

Until we ran into a little traffic…and by a little, we mean A LOT! So much that we had time to hop out of the car and get some fresh air. But in the end we made it and it was another job well done! Now check out our favorite Fabulous On A Budget tips for road tripping!
1) Gas up with the big boys – Gas is usually cheaper at truck stops!
2) Don’t skimp on the snacks – We all know that traveling by car means junk food temptation! To keep energy levels high, pack a cooler with “healthy” snacks. Granola bars, fruit, etc..
3) ALWAYS get an oil change and check your fluids before you head out into the sunset!
4) Bring Sunscreen – seems a little silly.. but I didn’t on our trip and I was sorry!! By the time we got there, my whole left arm, neck and side of my face was brunt!
5) Don’t forget the tunes!!! Make a great Mix CD or bring an Ipod. Who wants to get stuck in static!?

We’ve been spending hours in hair and makeup this week and getting rid of all that make up can me tough. That’s why we are loving L’Oreal’s Revital Lift Make Up Removing Wipes! They are only $7.00 for a pack of 30 pre moistened toweletts. Never oily or over drying, we are OBSESSED!

After the make up comes off, it’s time to revitalize our skin! Right now, I am loving the Alba Papaya Enzyme facial mask. It gently loosens and dissolves dull surface cells which makes my skin clean and vibrant! LOVES LOVES LOVES. Also available at your local drugstore.

While driving yesterday, I heard an ad for a company that promised new rims for your car for only $20 down and a low monthly payment of $20 – essentially ‘Pimp My Ride’ for rent! This was the best thing I’d ever heard of, so I quickly went home and checked out their site: EZRims4Rent. I think Leah should get some rims on her black SUV and trick that shizz out. So flashy! Does anyone know where I can rent an “ice cream paint job”?

Quick, little items for the person who has everything! I’m loving each of these wallet friendly treasures. Amazing when arranged in a basket with a bow – the ultimate lifestyle care package.
1. Religious Candles: Each come with a corresponding prayer and the best part, they won’t catch on fire if they tip! Less than a dollar at your local $.99 Store or Mexican Market.
2. Nag Champa Incense: My favorite scent! A classic. Find them at a spiritual bookstore, Indian shop or online for less than $2, depending on the size.
3. Jar: Fill it with jelly beans, a bouquet, coffee, cookies, or gazpacho and wrap in a ribbon for someone special.
4. Vaseline Rosy Lips: I haven’t been able to track one down in the states, but they’re all over the UK! Made with Rose and Almond oil and multi-functions for fly-aways, gloss, brow highlighter, dry cuticles, or a dewy cheek. Genius! Obsessed.
5. Lotto Ticket: Perfect in a card! Only $1 each but the pay offs are HUGE!
6. Fortune Cookies: Give the gift of luck! They come in a darling pink box for $1 at the $.99 Cent Store. Slap a bow on top and its already wrapped. So fun for parties and centerpieces!!
