Happy Monday! I hope that your weekend was fabulous. Mine was. The BF and I have had different sets of family staying with us for the past two weekends. My place is starting to feel like a hotel. But that’s ok because we LOVE to entertain and that was a big plus of getting a place with a second bedroom. So, between lots of family time, long walks, and even an addition to our art collection, I’d say I’m rested, inspired and ready for a fabulous new week.
Whenever guests come to stay, I always put out a bottle of fresh water and my “L” glasses on their bedside. It makes them feel more at home and it makes me feel like I am running a really Fabulous hotel!
On Friday evening we had an oyster picnic on our patio with the BF’s dad. We LOVE oysters! But they can be pricey at a restaurant. So, we headed over to our local Whole Foods and for about $20.00 we got 18 of those babies! We even made our own jalapeno minuet sauce!
We attended Saturday night mass at our local Catholic church, Saint Monicas. I just love the wrought iron chandeliers. How Fabulous is this venue!?
Sunday morning walks with the pup are my favorite. Even the alleys are beautiful. It feels like Spring here and I just adore my little neighborhood.
Check out my $10.00 garage sale find! I came across this picture at my neighbors garage sale while walking the dog. It is signed from 1976 and is only one of 12 prints! It says in charcoal across the bottom “Give me your tired, your poor”. Total Fabulous On A Budget score!!
