Last week, Mary and I attended the launch of the TOMS x Shabby Chic collaboration at the TOMS store in Venice. There, we had the incredible pleasure of meeting one of our idols… Shabby Chic creator, Rachel Ashwell. After a few glasses of champagne we got up enough courage to actually go and speak to her and she was just as lovely as the rosettes on all of her prints.
The shoes were pretty darling too! And while getting a sneak peak at the limited edition line was very cool (it launches in a few weeks)… the best part for me was the invite I received from Rachel herself!
As most of your know, I am engaged and my fiance and I are also both from Texas. Well, it turns out that Rachel has a ranch in Texas close to my home town. It’s called The Prairie and it is magical. They also host weddings there. WHHHAAA!?! A wedding at Rachel Ashwell’s Texas ranch!? Where do I sign up??

Isn’t it FAB!? We are going to visit the property over Easter to make our final decision. Can’t wait to keep you posted!
