Stranded in the Desert

My family flew into town this weekend to take a trip out to Palm Desert. Besides the killer weather, all I could think about was the thrifting and all of the little old ladies from Palm Springs with killer closets. On our way home, I convinced the ‘rents to pull the car over for a what I assured them would be a “quick pit stop”.

In 15 minutes my vintage dreams were realized.

Feeling fulfilled, I hopped back in the car only to get caught in what could quite possibly be the worst traffic in history. So, we decided to stay another night and I decided to play dress up with some of my new finds. Take a look at all those SEQUINS and forgive my Iphone pics.

Black sequined & beaded top for $29.99 and its in perfect condition.

Slouchy sequined striped blazer $35.00. This piece is KILLER in person.

I don’t know what the heck this is. It’s silk, cropped, sheer and sequined so just I couldn’t leave it. And it was only $11.99!

As I was being harrased via cell phone by my dad, I grabbed this dress off the rack and bought it for $11.99 without trying it on. It fit perfectly and goes great with my new panama hat!
